Describe your issue and search.

Can I change my course language?

No, once a course is created, its language can't be changed; the course language is locked in at creation time for consistency. This is an intentional design decision.

Why:

The curriculum, level test, lessons, images, and all content are generated based on the language you chose when opening the course. If the language changed later, the curriculum would need to be rewritten.

What this means in practice:

  • If you opened your course in English, all lessons will be in English.
  • You can create a new course in a different language for the same topic.
  • For example: you could have an English course and a Spanish course for "Python for beginners", the two are separate courses.

Interface language is not the same as course language:

  • You can change the interface language anytime from the Settings page (menus, buttons, and so on).
  • Course content stays in its original course language.

If I change the dashboard language, do the lessons change too?

No, the dashboard (sidebar, menus) follows the interface language; lessons stay locked to the course's own language. For details on the 14 interface languages, see What is Vunolin?.
